Emma Humphreys Memorial Prize 2020

October 8, 2020 Nic Mainwood
REMEMBERING * RECOGNISING * REWARDING-3.png

Please join us on 30th October at 6.30pm for the first ever virtual Emma Humphreys and Centre for Women's Justice Awards.

This is the second year in which EHMP and CWJ are working together to award two prizes to fantastic feminist campaigners:

  • one for feminist campaigning, writing, or awareness raising against any aspect of violence against women

and

  • one for campaigning that uses the law to hold the state to account on violence against women

**This year we are also awarding an international prize for brilliant feminist campaigning anywhere in the world**

Although it is not safe for us to hold an in person event this year, we hope that holding a free online awards will give as many women as possible the chance to attend and to hear about the work of our nominees.

We're thrilled that for a second year the awards will be hosted by journalist and broadcaster Samira Ahmed
