How to make a nomination
Please click the button at the bottom of the page to access the nomination form. The form can be used to nominate for the Emma Humphreys Memorial Prize and Centre for Women’s Justice Award. The main form must be completed for all nominations. If you wish your nominee to be considered for the CWJ Award then please also complete the additional questions at the end of the form.
Please ensure that your nominee is happy to be nominated and that she will be willing to participate in publicity. We can use a pseudonym for nominees requiring anonymity.
Criteria
The awards are for work done to advance the rights of women and girls, through raising awareness, campaigning and/or bringing legal challenges. Nominees should be individual women or women’s groups working specifically for the benefit of women and/or girls.
Individual women:
The individual woman should be someone who, through writing or campaigning, has sought to raise awareness of violence against women and children.
And/or
The individual woman should be someone who has brought, defended, campaigned around or in some other way assisted in a legal case which has had a wider impact and/or raised awareness of violence against women and children.
Groups:
The group or organisation should have done important work in raising awareness of violence against women and children, and have sought to bring about change.
And/or
The group should have brought, defended, campaigned around or in some other way assisted on a legal case which has had a wider impact and/or raised awareness of violence against women and children.
