Ethnicity Pay Gap
The ethnicity pay gap shows the disparity in the average wage between Black, Asian and minoritised staff and staff members from a non-minoritised white ethnic background. The pay gap is expressed as a percentage.
As CWJ is a small organisation we use mean (or average) figures which are calculated by dividing the team’s total salary by the number of employees.
‘Employees’ includes anyone on the CWJ payroll including fixed-term contracts but does not include the CEO or individuals employed on a consultancy basis.
The pay gap for staff employed at December 2025 (a total of 16 employees) was 4.5%. This signifies that Black and Asian employees working within CWJ in 2025 were on average paid 4.5% less than White employees.
